Pharmacy Practice Residency Program Objectives 

Through facilitation by pharmacist preceptors, the learning environment includes team participation in patient care rounds, case presentations, educational presentations and programs, research projects and staffing. Residents interact with patients, pharmacists, pharmacy students, pharmacy support staff, nurses, physicians, other health care practitioners and the community. 

Scottsdale Healthcare PGY1 Pharmacy Residents are required to complete 12 months of practice experience rotations during their residency. Rotations are on a calendar month schedule.
