Why I chose Scottsdale Healthcare Family Medicine Residency Program: I chose the Scottsdale Healthcare Family Medicine Residency for a multitude of reasons. The biggest reason for me was how comfortable I felt after doing a sub-I. As a medical student, I truly felt that I was part of the team and I could envision myself as part of the SHC family. Also, it made me reconsider being a hospitalist after residency, which was an impressive feat in itself. Last, being from Arizona, I was hoping to stay in Arizona.

Why I chose Scottsdale Healthcare Family Medicine Residency Program: The number one reason was the people: faculty, residents, and staff! They are excellent. The hospital and facilities are also excellent, and we are the only residency program here, which means more time and direct interaction with attendings and specialists.
