At Scottsdale Healthcare there is a genuine caring spirit that comes from being a long-time and vital part of our community. Our non-profit community-based mission – “to provide the highest quality and most compassionate care for all individuals”, reflects the very premise on which Scottsdale Healthcare was founded in 1962. Today, we remain non-profit and have expanded to become the community’s largest employer, with more than 6,700 dedicated staff members providing services to our community in one of our two medical centers or our smaller community-based hospital. Scottsdale Healthcare puts the phrase “Personalizing Health” into action every day through our vision of “Setting the Standard for Excellence in Personalized Healthcare.”
Our nursing philosophy is based on patient and family-centered care, which means we treat every person as an individual, be it patient, physician, volunteer, visitor or fellow staff member. We provide all employees the necessary means to contribute to and accomplish our goal of “World-Class Patient Care”. Fostering a culture that promotes professional development while focusing on individualized careers, Scottsdale Healthcare offers its employees a competitive benefits package plus professional development and growth through a variety of progressive educational programs and employment opportunities.
Tobacco-Free Hiring Policy
Beginning April 10, 2011, as part of its commitment to the health and well-being of our workforce and community, Scottsdale Healthcare will no longer hire or re-hire individuals who use tobacco.

Individuals whose screening results are verified positive for tobacco use will have their job offers withdrawn. Individuals whose job offers are withdrawn for tobacco use may reapply for employment after 180 days.
