History

People who study Arizona history know that our state was built on the “Five C’s”: Cotton, Cattle, Citrus, Copper and Climate. For the past 42 years, friends of Scottsdale Healthcare have been making history of their own, redefining philanthropy with their own set of “C’s”: Commitment, Compassion, Community, Creativity and Caring.

Commitment

Our donors live here, raise their families here, own businesses here, and enjoy life to the fullest here. So it comes as no surprise that they want to ensure that Scottsdale has the best healthcare system possible. They make this commitment through personal giving, corporate giving, and in their estate planning.

Compassion

Many people give to show their appreciation for the care they received at Scottsdale Healthcare. Others want to enable all residents of the greater East Valley to receive the absolute best in medical care. Whatever their motivation, hundreds of generous and visionary friends demonstrate their compassion by making generous gifts to Scottsdale Healthcare Foundation every year.

Community

Long-time donors and new contributors share a sense of community that creates a special camaraderie throughout Scottsdale Healthcare. Scottsdale Healthcare Foundation donors are the heart and soul of our organization.

Creativity

The benefactors and volunteers dedicated to Scottsdale Healthcare are constantly creating innovative and new ways to support our mission. From Auxiliary members parking cars at Spring Training baseball games, to the diverse special events held each year, Scottsdale Healthcare Foundation is fortunate to count creativity and innovation as an important part of philanthropy.

Caring

Impassioned by the vast realm of possibilities – finding a cure for cancer, adding life-saving minutes to trauma care, or creating a healthier community through education, prevention and outreach, Scottsdale Healthcare Foundation donors express their caring by funding state-of-the-art equipment and facilities.
