Exercise Rehabilitation / Lymphedema
Exercise during and after cancer therapy can actually help you better cope with treatment and maintain your independence. It is essential to continue participating in normal daily activities during cancer treatment and beyond.
Physical activity can also give you other benefits. It can improve your state of mind and your mood, increase your self-confidence, decrease depression and give you a higher energy level to perform your daily routine.
If you find it difficult to start or maintain your exercise program, the Exercise Rehabilitation program the Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center can help.
