Pain Management

Pain is one of the most feared symptoms that may accompany a diagnosis of cancer. With advances in medicine and pain management, few if any cancer patients need to experience pain. If you experience any pain and would like advice and treatment to help manage your cancer pain, help is available. The Piper Center houses a nationally recognized pain management physician whose practice is limited solely to cancer pain.

Services include:

• Diagnosis and treatment of cancer pain
• Multi-disciplinary patient care
• Creative use of medication for pain and side effects
• Injection therapy
• Implantable pumps, stimulators and axial catheters
• Complementary therapies and referrals
