Congratulations and welcome to Scottsdale Healthcare. We are here to make your birth experience a pleasant and memorable one.

We offer comfortable, private mother-baby suites at Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn’s Family Birthing Suites and Scottsdale Healthcare Shea’s Family Birthing Center. Baby may stay with you in your room from birth to discharge. Couplet care offers many advantages including increased opportunities for bonding, enhanced teaching opportunities and increased participation of family members and significant others.

Scottsdale Healthcare is proud to offer new moms an environment which embraces the needs of the entire family. Although regular visiting hours are 11 a.m. - 8 p.m., the newborn's father and siblings are encouraged to visit at any time. Others may visit at mother's discretion.

Once a new baby arrives, new moms work closely with staff to ensure a positive transition to parenthood. Lactation nurses are available during and after the hospital stay, and follow-up visits can be scheduled. Childbirth and infant care classes, prenatal unit tours and other programs are available for expectant and new parents.
