Sexual Assault Response Training Program

Scottsdale Healthcare’s Sexual Assault Response Training Program (SART) was developed in 1998. The success of this program relies on the solid foundation of coordinated teamwork by all disciplines involved in the investigation and care of sexual assault victims.

Historical Perspective
  • Demonstrated a conviction rate of nearly 100% in trial-eligible cases;
  • Conducted medical-forensic exams for nearly 6,000 victims and suspects;
  • Responded to more than 1100 sexual assault reports each year;
  • Trained more than 10,000 professionals working in the field of sexual assault care, investigation and prosecution;
  • Worked in diverse environments (college campuses, the Diocese, prisons and Tribal governments); and
  • Partnered with the military since 2001
