Military Training Program

  • TB test: All participants must have had a negative TB test within 3 months of his/her rotation with Scottsdale Healthcare
  • Positive TB test: Service members with a positive TB test result must have a negative chest x-ray taken within 3 months of his/her rotation with Scottsdale Healthcare and provide a copy of the negative radiology report on the first day of training.
  • Scottsdale Healthcare’s Military Training Program consists of the Readiness Skill Sustainment Training Program (RSSTP) and Clinical Rotations. The RSSTP is a 12 day course designed to support National Guard and Reserve medical personnel to meet their Readiness Skills Verification/Critical Skills requirements while on Annual Training. Clinical Rotations are customized, hands-on experiences enabling military personnel to practice skills needed, particularly in preparation for deployment. Both programs are partnered with Maricopa Integrated Health System and offers trauma, burn, EMS ride along, intensive care unit, orthopedics, wound care and operating room experiences.
