Donor Network- Organ Donation
Scottsdale Healthcare is proud to work with the Donor Network of Arizona.
Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn was honored during the National Organ Breakthrough Collaborative Learning Congress and received the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Medal of Honor for its 100% conversion rate for organ and tissue donation. Organ donation referrals from families of patients helped save the lives of 33 people.
Donor Network of Arizona is the federally designated, not-for profit organ recovery organization for the state of Arizona. As a full-service organ, tissue, and eye recovery organization working cooperatively with Arizona hospitals, transplant centers and the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS), Donor Network of Arizona participates in the equitable distribution of organs, tissues, and corneas for transplant. In addition, Donor Network of Arizona offers donor family support services, community and healthcare education, and presentations.
