Children’s Immunizations Clinics
Scottsdale Healthcare Community Health Services provides free children’s immunization clinics. The clinics are open for all children of the greater Scottsdale area to ensure all preventive vaccinations are up-to-date, regardless of the family’s ability to pay.

Car Seat Safety Inspections
The City of Scottsdale Fire Department offers free car seat safety inspections by appointment only. Appointments should be made at least one month in advance.

Infant CPR Class
A wonderful course for parents, childcare providers and extended family members, the infant CPR class covers basic life support and foreign-body airway obstruction. It is taught by a certified CPR instructor as outlined by the American Heart Association.

Oh, baby! Now what?-Moms 4.0
If you're a new mom over age 40, you know your little bundle of joy arrived with new challenges and plenty to talk about. This support group meets monthly to offer a unique opportunity to meet other new moms, receive support and listen to expert speakers.

Preemie Playgroup
This is a social event for NICU graduates and their families to have fun playing with your baby and their friends. Each session is facilitated by the therapy department and will focus on developmental progression. Guest speakers will attend to discuss topics regarding your transition home from the NICU. When: Every Friday from 1200-1300. Where: Scottsdale Healthcare Kidz Klinic Therapy Gym, Room 4000 on the 4th floor. Who: Children from the age of NICU graduation to one year developmental age.

Breast Feeding Support Services

Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support Group
Support for those who have experienced the loss of a pregnancy or infant
The Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support Group is for those who have experienced the loss of a pregnancy through miscarriage, stillbirth, ectopic pregnancy and neonatal death.
No one anticipates the loss of a baby during pregnancy or birth. The Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support Group allows parents the opportunity to share their experiences and receive encouragement and assistance from other parents. Educational topics will be presented and discusses monthly.
Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support Group meets on the first Thursday of the month 6 – 8 p.m.

Pregnancy & Postpartum Depression Support Group
Many women experience mild mood changes during or after the birth of a child. Symptoms of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders can appear any time during pregnancy and the first 12 months after childbirth. This support group helps mothers who are pregnant or postpartum and are experiencing depression or anxiety. The group is facilitated by a licensed psychologist. The group meets on the first Friday of the month in the Brady Conference Center at Scottsdale Healthcare Shea Medical Center. The center is located in the main hospital building on the ground floor.
