Pediatric Imaging Services

The Medical Imaging Department at Scottsdale Healthcare Shea Medical Center is dedicated to the special needs of our pediatric patients and their loved ones. 

Our Medical Imaging department provides radiologists, technologists and anesthesiologists trained in pediatric care. We work with our Child Life Specialists to ensure a comfortable experience for our pediatric patients. 

Imaging Procedures: 

Physicians refer patients to Scottsdale Healthcare’s Shea Medical Center for a menu of imaging procedures such as: 

  • Diagnostic Radiography Imaging (XRAY)
  • Computed Tomography (CT)
  • Fluoroscopy Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
  • Nuclear Medicine Ultrasound (US)

Scottsdale Healthcare is a participant in the Alliance for Radiation safety in Pediatric Imaging- the Image Gently Alliance which is a coalition of healthcare organizations dedicated to providing safe, high quality pediatric imaging nationwide. 

If your physician has recommended that your child needs a procedure at our Scottsdale Healthcare Shea Medical Center, please call Centralized Scheduling at 480-882-4703 and make sure your doctor has completed the Pediatric Radiology Exam Request form.
