Transcript:

There’s so much that makes Scottsdale Healthcare a wonderful organization. Such as educational benefits and competitive salaries. Scottsdale Healthcare treats its employees well. We celebrate our milestones and the things we achieve along the way. For me, it’s a dream come true to work where there’s a cohesive group and a culture where people really work together. Scottsdale Healthcare really values it’s staff members. And I think that’s reflected in our benefits. We have everything from medical, dental, vision and life insurance to commuter programs and tuition reimbursements. In fact, our tuition assistance program is paying me back thousands of dollars as I work toward my masters degree. It’s great to work for an organization that helps you pursue your goals. Scottsdale Healthcare has earned some of the most advanced and prestigious designations in healthcare. We are a certified chest pain center. Our primary stroke center is certified by the Joint Commission. Our Level One trauma center achieved a highest level of verification by the American College of Surgeons. And that’s just to name a few. With this kind of dedication to clinical excellence, I can’t help but feel proud to work here. It’s one thing to say you’re committed to our communities’ children, it’s another to actually demonstrate that commitment every single day. Scottsdale Healthcare offers dozens of services especially designed to meet children’s needs. We have everything from a dedicated kids ER and top pediatricians and specialists to parenting classes and free immunization clinics. Day in and day out, I see the amazing care that Scottsdale Healthcare provides to children. And I’m very proud to be part of it. I retired from the Navy thinking I had worked with some of the best people in the Nation, but Scottsdale Healthcare has given me the opportunity with and for some phenomenal people. It is truly amazing to see everybody working together to provide the best care and have a positive impact on our community. I register patients in the ER and it’s different every day. I get to interact with the patients and I’ve met a lot of people. The employees who work here are really nice and even though I only work part time, I have really good benefits. Scottsdale Healthcare has earned Magnet recognition and if you’re a nurse you know that says a lot about the quality of care we provide. When you’re ill or injured and need medical care, everything can be so confusing and stressful, especially if you don’t speak or understand English. As an interpreter at Scottsdale Healthcare, I have the opportunity every day to serve my community and be an advocate for our patients. It really is a wonderful feeling to help people when they need it most. There’s a positive environment at Scottsdale Healthcare. I enjoy camaraderie with my co-workers and support from staff, peers and supervisors. I think our organization goes above and beyond for nurses. For example, our SHINE program nurtures professional growth and rewards achievement and hard work. I can’t think of a better place to practice nursing than Scottsdale Healthcare. I have a challenging but rewarding job at Scottsdale Healthcare. I’m also a mother of two young children. Scottsdale Healthcare helps me balance both by offering a child care center at their Shea campus. It’s convenient, but best of all I know my son is receiving quality care in a safe environment. As any parent knows, that peace of mind is worth a lot. Scottsdale Healthcare also helped me earn my bachelors and masters through the tuition reimbursement program. Then they presented me with opportunities to use my education. I wouldn’t want to work anywhere else.
