AARP “Best Employers for Workers Over 50” 

Scottsdale Healthcare was named to the AARP’s national “Best Employers for Workers Over 50” list in 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004 and 2003. Scottsdale Healthcare was recognized for its recruitment practices, flexible work schedules, opportunities for advancement and employee benefits for staff members age 50+. It was the only Phoenix-area employer to receive the honor in 2007, 2006 and 2005. 

Phoenix Business Journal “Best Places to Work” 

Scottsdale Healthcare was named one of the “Best Places to Work in the Valley” in 2004 by the Phoenix Business Journal. Winning entries in the competition were based solely on employee survey results which were evaluated and ranked by Quantum Market Research of Wichita, Kansas. Scottsdale Healthcare was acknowledged for creating an enjoyable corporate culture and work environment that fosters personal and professional growth for its employees. 

Scottsdale Healthcare recognized as a ‘Best Workplace for Commuters’ 

Scottsdale Healthcare was recognized as one of the Valley’s “Best Workplaces for Commuters” in 2004 by representatives of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce.

 Scottsdale’s largest employer with approximately 4500 employees, Scottsdale Healthcare was one of 60 Valley companies honored for efforts to improve air quality and reduce traffic congestion. 

Selection as a “Best Workplace for Commuters” means companies offer benefits such as employer-provided bus passes, compressed work schedules, telecommuting options, preferred parking for carpools and incentives to encourage employees to reduce commuting trips.

Alfred P. Sloan Award for Workplace Flexibility

Scottsdale Healthcare has been acknowledged for its promising and innovative practices in creating effective and flexible workplaces that make work "work" better for both the organization and for our employees.

Recognized for our seasonal leave, paid time off, employee health, childcare,  and family-friendly benefit policies, Scottsdale Healthcare is recognized among the top companies for workplace flexibility. Anybody can say "we have a flexible work environment." The Sloan Award, however, is the gold standard, and proves it.
